Last weekend, I attended a convention where Compassion International had a booth. I was able to volunteer on Thursday night. I was behind a table and in front of me were packets (and plenty more were underneath). Each packet contained information about a child in need of a sponsor and the paperwork that would allow people to sponsor them. Precious children, not much different than me.
Children who, if someone will sponsor them today, are far less likely to need an organization like the International Justice Mission to rescue them in the future.
That’s why Compassion International is one of the organizations that I’m partnering with. Poverty a leading causes of slavery, and Compassion’s mission is to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
