In India, many people become enslaved because of poverty and a lack of job opportunities. That's why Not For Sale has partnered with Open Hand to provide jobs to people who are at risk or survivors of trafficking. Women from local shelters and vocational programs are recruited for the NFS Training Program and appointed a social worker. As part of their training, they are offered counseling, childcare, literacy programs, savings and financial training and further transferable job skills.
